What are we looking for?
CCT Elite students are multi-talented kids and teens with a drive and passion for theatre.
Auditions are open to boys and girls ages 7-18* (*Must still be in high school).
Participants must be respectful, mature, able to get along with their peers as well as their directors.
Participants must also be dedicated to their team and their art.
Participants (and Parents) must be able to commit to a 10 month season (August-May).
Younger students must also be able to read on their own.
No prior dance, acting, or singing experience is required, however, it is strongly recommended.

What do I have to do to audition?
Come to the CCT ELITE Auditions on May 22nd OR May 23rd. You do NOT have to attend both auditions. **Make-up Dates are available at the Director's discretion. If you can not attend one of the above audition dates, please contact the Director for a makeup date.
Dress appropriately for the auditions. Bring a change of clothes to wear during the dance audition.
Before you arrive at the auditions, make sure you have prepared the following:
1. A song from a musical or movie-musical (showtunes). Should not be longer than 1 minute. You may use a backing track (instrumental only) or sing a capella (without music).
2. A dramatic or comedic monologue no longer than 1 minute.
A short dance will be taught to all auditionees the day of the audition.
Auditionees will also be interviewed solo after all auditions have been completed.
We want to be able to not only see your talents, but also your personality.

What happens if I make the cut?
This is a ten month commitment, (August-May) with regular classes 1-2 times a week and required classes and workshops on some Saturdays spread throughout the year. Cost for the year is $300 tuition, est. $350 for Junior Theatre Festival and Hotel Fees, $35 AYTE Competition Fees, and $70 Registration fee. This does not include fees for optional competitions, costumes, or travel. The Troupe will perform locally as well as compete at the Junior Theatre Festival (JTF) in Atlanta, GA in January as well as other competitions throughout the year.
In Fall 2017, CCT KIDS will be traveling to Dollywood/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg in Tennessee.
(Additional fees apply for trip costs, costumes, and Troupe essentials).
